Back in the early 2000's I had a layover at O'Hare for several hours on a business trip to Philadelphia. I was kind of bored just sitting around the gate, so I started wandering around with my camera. I shot a few "straight" pictures, but then tried playing around a little. Motion blur was pretty cool in a busy airport. It became a thing, and I've been doing it ever since. There's an element of chance and everything is kind of an experiment. My favorites are the totally abstract ones and the Duchamp-ish ones. Someday I'd love to hang a bunch of them in a gallery, maybe randomly. It would be fun.
